What I do with your information

This policy applies to Celeste Michelle Langridge, ABN 54 299 525 437, trading as Celeste Langridge Homeopathy. As a health service provider I am bound by the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, including the parts covering sensitive information. The small business exemption does not apply to me.

What I collect

• Your name, email address and phone number, so I can arrange appointments.
• Health information you give me — your history, symptoms, medicines you take, and what we discuss in consultation. This is sensitive information and I collect it only with your consent.
• Your postal address, so remedies can be sent to you.

Who else touches it

• Calendly, for scheduling, intake questions and appointment reminders.
• Stripe, for card payments. I never see or store your card details.
• Resend, for email sent from this website.
• Vercel, which hosts this website.
• Google Analytics, for visitor statistics — see below.

Some of these providers store data outside Australia. I do not sell your information, and I do not share it with anyone else without your consent unless the law requires it.

The contact form

The contact form on this site asks only for your name, email and message, and asks you not to include health details. That is deliberate — ordinary email is not a secure place for health information. Everything clinical happens inside your consultation and the intake questions attached to your booking instead.

How this website is kept

This site is served over HTTPS. It uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages get read. That sets a few cookies and sends Google a record of your visit — the pages you opened, roughly where you were, what kind of device you used — but not who you are, and never anything you type into a form. Google does not store your full IP address. You can block it with your browser's tracking protection or an ad blocker, and the site works exactly the same without it. No internet service can promise perfect security, so this site is built to collect as little as possible and to store nothing itself.

Links to other places

This site links out to other services — Calendly for booking among them. Once you are on someone else's website, their privacy policy applies, not this one, and I am not responsible for how they handle your information.

How your consultation records are kept

Your case notes are kept in an encrypted, password-protected record that only I can open — never in ordinary email, and not on paper. I keep them for seven years from our last contact, or if you were under eighteen when we first spoke, until you turn twenty-five, which is the period health record rules in Australia generally require. After that they are securely destroyed. If your information were ever lost or seen by someone who should not have it, I would tell you promptly, contain the problem, and report it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner where the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme requires it.

Seeing or correcting your information

Email hello@celestelangridgehomeopathy.com.au and ask. You have the right to see the personal information I hold about you and to have it corrected if it is wrong.

Complaints

Raise it with me at hello@celestelangridgehomeopathy.com.au first. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

If this policy changes

If how I handle your information changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top tells you when that last happened.
